Battlefield 3 - still trying to make MW3 its *****

Straight from the single-player campaign (har, as if anyone plays Battlefield 3 for the single-player campaign, mirite?) these screen shots show manly men with manly guns doing manly modern warfare (NOT CAPTIALIZED!) type things like looking at explosions and preparing to get boosted over walls by their manly buddy.  One shot however shows a pilot in his or her cockpit on the deck of an aircraft carrier being asked in a most videogame-y fashion to check the flaps like how some games try to weave look-stick calibration into the game's narrative.

Battlefield 3 comes out October 25th.
