E3 2011: Luigi’s Mansion 2 announced

Nintendo has announced a sequel to the Gamecube launch title Luigi’s Mansion in the form of Luigi’s Mansion 2 for the Nintendo 3DS. The new game was shown in trailer form at this morning’s press conference and looks very reminiscent of the Gamecube original. The game seems to have more of a focus on 3D environments this time around in order to make the best of the 3DS’ features. The game is a whole new game and not a remake of the original and will take Luigi across several mansions in his adventure.
