Use Kinect as a remote on your Windows machine

by: John -
More On: Kinect
KinEmote takes gestures from Kinect and allows you to remap them to keys in Windows. For those with a Media Center setup in their living room, this could be a nice little way to control everything with your hand motions. But, you can use it for many things since it's just a remapper for gestures to keyboard commands.

I'd actually would love it if the software would be able to tap into the microphones so I can control my home theater setup that way. The voice recognition on the Xbox 360 using Kinect is actually pretty slick.

You can download the beta now to try it out for yourself.
