Gamers looking to get their real “pro experience” in Rock Band 3 are about to get their wish as Mad Catz has announced that shipments of the MIDI Pro-adapter have finally begun.
The device, which is currently shipping for all major platforms, will soon be available at Best Buy allows would-be musicians to use MIDI keyboards and drum sets to play the game. The MIDI Pro-adapter is also a required piece of equipment for those who wish to use the upcoming Squier Fender Stratocaster Guitar and controller.
The device plugs into your console’s standard USB port and converts the MIDI signal from your instrument into console, controller data which is used by the game. Keep an eye out as the device should be available in stores as early as this weekend...
