More On: Call of Duty: Black Ops
So, how big do you think Call of Duty: Black Ops did on its opening day? Would any of the negative news about Infinity Ward (even though they didn't develop the game) affect the sales? Was it going to set another record?

Well, the estimate sales figures are in from Activision and it's a whopping 4.7 million copies in the U.S. and U.K. alone. That equates to about $360 million, which is a nice big chunk of change.  The previous record of 3.6 million for Grand Theft Auto IV was pretty much shattered by Black Ops.

Now, we'll see if the series has any legs with IW, or what's left of it, most likely not working on the next true sequel in the series.
