More On: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction
Seldom does DLC grab the attention of gamers quite like that of online multiplayer additions. Splinter Cell Conviction's Deniable ops insurgency pack is no exception. For the price of (or equivalent of) $10 players can purchase four new maps to test their stealth combat skills. The new maps feel like some sort of soldiers playground; but don't take my word for it- check out the video below.

TOM CLANCY'S SPLINTER CELL CONVICTION DENIABLE OPS INSURGENCY PACK DLC AVAILABLE NOW FOR XBOX 360 AND WINDOWS PC

SAN FRANCISCO- May 27th, 2010 – Ubisoft announced today that the Deniable Ops “Insurgency Pack” downloadable content (DLC) for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction™ for the PC and the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft is available for download. The Insurgency Pack delivers brand-new missions for Archer and Kestrel on four additional maps for Deniable Ops modes. Take on challenges in Hunter, Face Off, Infiltration or Last Stand to unlock new achievements and play in settings from the docks of San Francisco to a New Orleans cemetery, a prison in Portland to a hidden research complex in Salt Lake City. Sam Fisher may have his conviction, but Black Arrow is still out there – waiting for him.

The achievement hunters will be glad to know that 250 new points can be unlocked in this DLC.

About Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction:
Sam Fisher returns as a fugitive and enemy of the state. Now Sam is being ruthlessly hunted by the very government he served, and the friends and colleagues he once knew may have masterminded the entire plot. Working outside Third Echelon puts Sam in the uncomfortable position of having to obtain vital resources via different means (aka the underground black market) as he learns to use the environment around him to his advantage.

Where light and shadows were key to gameplay in the original Splinter Cell, stealth action and improvisation help drive Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction, making it an adrenaline rush of blood-pumping chase sequences, close combat, crowd interaction with real-world dynamics and intense gun battles.

About Tom Clancy:
With more than 80 million books sold, Tom Clancy is arguably the world's most recognized author.
