It looks like the PSP will finally get its own Splinter Cell game as Ubisoft has announced
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Essentials.
The new game will feature all new missions and objectives and will tell
provide more of the back story for the other games in the series
(including the upcoming
Splinter Cell: Double Agent).
Sounds like a cool idea and a new way of telling the story (although it
does feel like one of those tricks that Marvel used to do with the
X-Men comics where you needed to buy seven other comics just to
understand what is going on). Be sure to hit the official
website for more information about the game.
