Less than a week after announcing an external HD DVD player at CES, Peter Moore is already conceding that Microsoft could also release a Blu-ray player if so inclined according to
this report at Next Generation. It makes sense from a technical and strategic sense but given how much Microsoft has bet on the HD DVD standard I don't think we are going to see it any time soon if at all.
