Batman goes Lego and D2D

IGN Entertainment has gotten their digital hands on Lego Batman, which is now available on Direct2Drive, their content download service.  Lego Batman is the first game to be released under a new agreement between IGN and Warner Bros. Interactive.  Expect to see more downloadable titles from Warner Bros, joining games from Sega, Ubisoft and the like.
Direct2Drive, IGN Entertainment's digital retail store, today announced an agreement with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution to digitally distribute select titles from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.  LEGO Batman: The Videogame, developed by TT Games, is the first title available now for digital download in North America on Direct2Drive.com. 

 

Warner Bros. Digital Distribution joins Direct2Drive's AAA roster of leading game publishers with titles available for digital download. The list, which also includes Atari, Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, Eidos, Electronic Arts, Namco, NCsoft, Sega, Sony Online Entertainment, Ubisoft, Vivendi Universal Games and 2K Games, underscores the growing investment the industry's top publishers are making in digital delivery.
