Gaming Gibs for 10/1/2008

Here are a few things I missed while trying to find a better sci-fi death than Spock at the end of Star Trek II:

• Finns will get first chance to preview new Alan Wake trailer, lucky bastards
• Brett Ratner is going to be making the God of War movies, pray that Chris Tucker is busy
• Nintendo has a big announcement on Thursday, c'mon Wii Music II: Electric Boogaloo
• Sony to announce 11 new games at TGS next week, your move Microsoft
• id talks about growing pains and that time when Carmack started getting hair in his no touch zone
• Board games will never be replaced, only digitized
• Former NFL players are looking for a bigger cut of the Madden pie
• Rock out with old classic Atari games in a plastic guitar, I'm not sure if this is sad or awesome
