More On: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
In the first week since its release, the ranks of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning subscribers have swollen to over 500K. It looks like the hope to compete with the World of Warcraft juggernaut is off to a great start.

Lest you get too excited for Mythic, remember that three weeks after release, Age of Conan had shipped over 1 million units and was second only to WOW.  Three months later however the outlook isn't nearly as good for AoC. The hard part with any MMO isn't necessarily getting people to try it; its getting them to stay. WAR has put out a solid game with much to like. If Mythic can keep up with the bug fixes and get new content out quickly, they should do well.
