D3PUBLISHER ANNOUNCES WESTERN RELEASE OF GOD EATER™ FOR PSP® SYSTEM

LOS ANGELES – February 17, 2010 – D3Publisher, a publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software, today announced that God Eater will be released in North America for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system in Q3 2010.

Offering a compelling and dramatic story of human survival in a desolate post-apocalyptic world, God Eater is a fast-paced action game that will captivate players with more than 100 exciting missions. Players can dynamically change their game strategy at any time by instantly switching between weapon forms to slash, shoot, and devour gigantic enemies and customize bullets to alter the strength, pattern and elemental type for super powerful attacks. Featuring cooperative modes, players can hunt with AI controlled party members or join hunting parties with up to four players via local adhoc mode or connect the PSP system to the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system to play online using adhocParty.

“The anticipation for God Eater in Japan has been tremendous with more than 1.5 million downloads of the demo,” said Pete Andrew, vice president of product development, D3Publisher. “God Eater offers high-speed, stylized action mixed with a deep dramatic storyline that makes it uniquely different from its competitors and we look forward to bringing this title to gamers in North America.”

In God Eater, the earth has been ruined by mutated beasts known as the Aragami and mankind’s only hope against them is the Jinki weapons and the God Eaters who wield them. Players will create their own hero and battle more than 35 unique enemy types to find items to customize their weapons, guns, bullets and shields to increase their strength and stamina. A unique predator mode will add a new level of strategy as players transform their Jinki to beast form to gain a boost in stats and special bullets to launch potent attacks solo or with up to four friends.

God Eater for the PSP system was developed by Bandai Namco Games. For more information in the coming months, please visit www.d3publisher.us.
