Want to design a Lost Planet 2 Energy Canister?

by: Sean Colleli -
More On: Lost Planet 2
Well now you can. If you are artistically inclined, fire up your favorite image editing software and whip up a personal energy canister design. Then submit a jpeg of it to the people at Capcom running the contest, and your design just might make it into the final version of Lost Planet 2. You'll also get a free copy of the game and a plush Salamander. Check the press release for the official rules and details.

We have a really easy and fun contest for you! We're looking to make some aluminum bottles that look like T-ENG (Thermal Energy) canisters from Lost Planet 2. With all the customization, there's tons of different canisters you can customize your character with.

Here's where you come in: We want you to come up with your own design for a T-ENG canister. As you can see in the image above, it's basically little rectangles and such, with a simple layout. Anyone can do this. Use Paint, PhotoShop, whatever you have to make a JPG.

Make your design 9 inches wide by 5.5 inches high. Besure that the left and right sides match up exactly in order to create a seamless loop when the wrap is put around the bottle.

Submit your design via a Private Message to THIS GUY, with the subject line as "T-ENG Canister." Include your design (jpg, png, gif, etc.) in that message.

Submit your entry by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on Tuesday, March 16th.

If you win, we'll use your design on the bottles we make! Not only that, but we'll also send you a copy of Lost Planet 2 when it releases, plus a Salamander Plushie!
