Shacknews is
reporting that Activision and Vivendi have gone to corporate alter and gotten married. The new company will be called Activision Blizzard. It looks like they will be merging all studio and companies into one giant corporate entity but I'm not sure why it's Activision Blizzard and not Activision Vivendi. This is a huge announcement and it's going to take some time to digest. Activision was already the #1 game developer in the world after passing EA earlier this year and this merger just makes them bigger. Stunning news to say the least.
