Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown finally lands on consoles

Sega has finally released the console version of Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown. The game launches today on the PlayStation Network and tomorrow on the Xbox Live Arcade. The game, which is based on the latest release of the arcade version of VF5, is $14.99 / 1200 Microsoft points.

The game features 19 playable characters including an all new one in the form of Jean Kujo. It features a full training mode and multiplayer options in addition to the standard time attack and arcade game modes. The game also brings an unparalleled level of customization options to the fighting game genre by allowing players to outfit their favorite characters with hundreds of items. Tons of items are available as unlockables in the game and many more are available as DLC on the respective marketplaces.

PlayStation Plus users should take note: the game will be offered free for subscribers of the service one month after its release. Good things come to those who wait!
