It looks like the console version of
World in Conflict might finally see the light of day as Ubisoft has
purchased Massive Entertainment from Activision/Blizzard. The game was supposed to hit this fall but the merger between Vivendi/Sierra and Activision put the game into game development limbo. While the game does compete a bit with the recently released
Tom Clancy's EndWar the game is different enough that it won't cannibalize sales. Hopefully we can get an updated release date soon as I'm looking forward to seeing what people think of this excellent RTS.
