This week in EA Mobile

More On: Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Liqua Pop Sky Combat
I’m a couple days late in putting this up (usually like to do it on a lazy Sunday), but here are the EA Mobile top items from the last week or so.

Sky Combat available
EA Mobile released Sky Combat (Chillingo app) for the iPhone and iPod touch last week at a cool $0.99. The game is visually impressive and reminds me a bit of a copter version of 1942. It sports 30 enemy types, eight bosses and you can choose from three vehicles: An AH-64 Apache helicopter, a combat boat or an armored Humvee. It also has Crystal support for leaderboards and achievements.

Liqua Pop Trailer released
A gameplay trailer was also released for their upcoming match-three puzzler Liqua Pop. This game shows how you can take an old idea (Bubble on Win Mobile) and bring it to new heights. Check it out, it is pretty slick.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3: iPad released
What makes the iPad so fun? Playing these mobile titles on a bigger screen and in HD. As such, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 made its way to the iPad on Feb 10th and it sure looks pretty with several new screens also released. The game will set you back $4.99, but if you are a fan, you know you gotta have it. One thing I find interesting is that with the larger screen you can get the full fight-stick button layout (virtually of course) on screen.
