More On: The Sims 2
It's largely a foregone conclusion that any Sims 2 expansion pack will be a success.  There are even people that don't play any other video games except The Sims (my social butterfly of a sister is one of them).  That in mind, extensive advertising campaigns don't seem par for course either, and buzz buildup is a rare requirement for the specialized EA Sims division powerhouse -- EA didn't even officially announce the release of The Sims 2: Free Time expansion until a month and half before release and, as promised, the game hit store shelves on February 26th.

The Free Time expansion takes a hedonistic turn as your Sims do what makes them happy, and the choices are wide-ranging:  activities from sports to science to arts and crafts; hobbies including basketball, soccer, car restoration, ballet, and astronomy; a new lifetime aspiration meter; five new career tracks; all new objects and outfits -- holy cow, there's really too much to list here.  Hit the jump for the expounded details.
