The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD remake coming to Wii U this fall

Nintendo announced that The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD is being released this fall for the company's new console.
Expectedly, the game will feature visuals on par with this generation of systems, but will also add GamePad functionality. The team started with an HD version of the game's iconic Windfall Island and liked it so much, they decided to proceed with the rest of the game.
This marks the second current Zelda game in development -- for the Wii U at least -- along with the open world game they have been promising for some time now.
