While the GTA franchise has been under siege for nearly a year due to the "Hot Coffee" kerfluffle the game is still a core asset to Take-Two. In accordance with that Take-Two has
locked up the key personnel behind the game for the next three years by signing them to a deal worth $25M dollars according to documents Take-two files with the SEC yesterday. It's a good move for Take-Two and certainly good news for those folks at Rockstar who are benefiting from a fatter bank account. It will be interesting to see what long term effects this has on the industry and how much it will cost to retain these people after the deal is over.
