Take On Mars expands with Expedition One content update

Bohemia Interactive has announced that Take On Mars has received a massive content update titled Expedition One. With the new update players are able to take part in a manned mission to Mars in which they explore the Red Planet and establish a colony habitat that is suitable for humans.

Other features of the update include a manned science buggy, interactive 3D interface, Cydonia Mensae location that measures 8x8 kilometers of the Martian terrain, and an in-game 3D printer that allows for construction of various colony parts. The next update to Expedition One plans to add resource extraction and transfer, habitat pressurization, and marsonaut vitals; which is scheduled for release this May.
