That's the same PC developer Stardock responsible for such not-old-school-at-all PC games like Sins of a Solar Empire and Galactic Civilizations.  In fact, it's not just oldschool, Stardock has gone indie as well.  Their new game called Elfsquad7 (seriously) is a 2D platformer straight from 1996 that's available right now on PC and XBLA's indie channel.
