Nintendo is still in extended damage control over the floundering Wii U, so we'll probably be seeing these Nintendo Direct pressers more often. Next Tuesday the 8th they'll host one all about the new Super Smash Bros. game, coming to Wii U and 3DS sometime this year. As he's done for the previous entry on Wii, Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai has been releasing weekly tweets and screenshots for the new games. Fans are understandably getting impatient for things to actually play on their Wii U, so I don't think a steady trickle of screengrabs will cut it anymore. It would be wise for Nintendo to announce a release date for the new Smash Bros. on Tuesday, as they really cannot afford to be coy and drag their feet any longer.
