More On: Virtua Tennis 4
Sega has announced the release date for Virtua Tennis 4 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii consoles. The game, which will support the motion peripherals on each platform, will launch on May 10, 2011.

The new installment of Sega’s hit series looks to restore the game(s) to its former glory with a revamped World Tour and an extreme sense of realism thanks to enhanced, motion control. I have always been a fan of the Virtua Tennis series since it debuted on the Sega Dreamcast many years ago. There is just something about a game that has solid gameplay mechanics that rival even the best tennis simulator yet mini games that involve giant fruit and robots. It doesn’t get any better than that.
