Remember Amplitude? Harmonix is hoping to give it a reboot.

More On: Amplitude

Before Harmonix made Rock Band they made a game called Amplitude, a controller based rhythm game for the PlayStation 2 where you used the controller to move back and forth between tracks and pressed the face buttons in time to the music.  If you've played Rock Band Unplugged or Rock Band Blitz, it's basically the same thing, just with techno music if I recall.  Anywho, for those who remember those days and yearn for them to return, Harmonix has launched a Kickstarter campaign fund a reboot of Amplitude.  You can check out the Kickstarter page for the game, but be advised that according to the site the game is planned to be released for the PS3 and PS4.  Then again the original game was released for the PS2 so I guess it makes sense.
