Harmonix released a nice cross-section of musical genres on the Rock Band Network yesterday for the Xbox 360.  Included in the nine tracks were 8 different styles, including songs by Danny And the Lost Souls, Sunny Side Up, and Jason Charles Miller (lead vocalist and guitarist of Godhead).  Here is the complete Xbox 360 list:

In case you were wondering about the disparity of RBN songs released on the Xbox 360 vs. the PS3, this statement from Harmonix (and mentioned previously by our own Cyril) should provide full disclosure.

The Rock Band Network was developed upon Microsoft's XNA technology, and all RBN songs have 30-day exclusivity on the Xbox 360. However, select RBN 2.0 songs are submitted to the PS3 by Sony and Harmonix at the rate of 5 songs a week, as determined by factors such as popularity and community interest. To request future songs for the PS3, go to the forum thread here. We're always interested in hearing what songs our PS3 customers would enjoy!
