QuakeCon 2013 itinerary is live

The full schedule of events for QuakeCon 2013 is now available. As usual John Carmack will kick off the events with a keynote, and this time it will be steamed live on TwitchTV. Carmack will be demoing the first live gameplay from Elder Scrolls Online, which is awesome and all, but Carmack better have some Doom 4 for us this year or there will be hell to pay, pun definitely intended.

Additionally, id art director Hugo Martin will talk about the work he did concepting the giant Jaeger mechs in Pacific Rim. I'm tempted to fly out to Texas just for that. It's your fault now, id: you are formally obligated to make the Pacific Rim videogame that we all want and deserve! Ahem. Hit the jump for a full schedule of events.
We’re pleased to reveal the full schedule of panels and game presentations taking place on the Ventrilo Main Stage during QuakeCon 2013, the ultimate video game festival. 
This year we’ll be streaming John Carmack’s annual keynote, as well as other QuakeCon presentations – including the very first live gameplay stream of The Elder Scrolls Online – on Twich.tv/Bethesda.
We’ve also added an additional presentation to the lineup that will also be streamed. On Saturday at 3:00pm, Hugo Martin, Art Director at id Software, will give a presentation on the work he created as a concept artist for the Jaegers, the giant humanoid mechs featured in the summer blockbuster movie, Pacific Rim.

John will present a lecture-style presentation on the physics of light transport and rendering. He will discuss how light behaves in the real world, and the approximations and compromises that are involved in simulating the behavior with computers. Note: not for the technically faint at heart.
