Prodigy digitally resurrects a world-renowned figurine modeler

Now this is a miniatures-to-video-game announcement that has my attention. Prodigy. With miniatures crafted by figurine modeler Jean Bey, these bad boys are highly detailed denizens ready to go from pewter to your computer (womp womp) in skull-smashing, face-melting tactical showdowns.

This teaser video from developer Hanakai Studio makes me hungry for more. Listen to that. Stomach's all growling and everything. Hopefully Jean Bey took lessons he learned from Confrontation — another miniatures-based tactical RPG — and won't rely entirely on awesomely sculpted figurines to make a great video game.
