Pre-order Dragon Age on Impulse and get a virtual ring

by: Chuck -
More On: Dragon Age: Origins
It looks like those wanting to purchase the digital version of Dragon Age:Origins will have to figure out which pre-order bonus they want to receive for their money.  You can order the game through Steam and get a a few combat extras or you can pre-order it through Impulse and get the Formari Memory Ring which grants you an extra 1% XP and an extra skill point when you start the game.  You can apparently find more of these in the game as the description makes it sound like you can wear more than one at a time.

Is it me or is this pre-order thing getting out of hand?  Between the various digital distribution systems and real world stores game companies are forcing gamers to make some tough decisions on which pre-order they want to get and that's not even including the standard and deluxe editions of the game that are becoming more and more popular.  What do you think?  Let us know in the comments.
Pre-Order Bonus: Formari Memory Band
Made by the Formari, these lyrium-infused rings are supposed to help apprentices retain their lessons.

They work rather well -- too well, perhaps, as less capable students sometimes wear three or four per finger.
