Yet another title is coming to the world of the LEGO video games, this time in the form of Lord of the Rings.  Launching today for all major handheld systems in the form of the DS, 3DS, and Vita.  As one would expect, the game is set in the famous land created by J.R.R. Tolkien.  Players take on the various roles of their favorite heroes throughout the legendary adventures, bringing fun for just about all ages.  The title will retail for $29.99 USD for the DS and $39.99 for the 3DS and Vita respectively.

Frodo the Hobbit, Aragorn the Ranger, Gandalf the Wizard, Legolas the Elf, Gimli the Dwarf, Boromir a Man of Gondor, and Frodo??s Hobbit friends Sam, Merry and Pippin ?? as they relive the most momentous events from the films.  They will be able to partake in the iconic Helms Deep Battle, run around The Shire, escape the fiery pits of Mount Doom, and battle against Shelob, the Nazgûl, and the Ringwraiths in a special mode in the game, all the while solving puzzles, collecting and using a variety of weaponry and magical items, including the Light of E?rendil, Elven rope, swords, and bows.
