OUYA dev kit shipping, unboxing, and more

More On: OUYA
The folks at OUYA should be shipping dev kits to folks by now so they can get started making games and applications for the product starting the new year. Here's a look at the dev kit and what you get.

As you can see, it's a clear plastic console with two clear plastic controllers as well. You can see how tiny the console truly is. Also, they've gone and added a microUSB port so that you can plug it into your PC, which is pretty cool. The controller's still going through some adjustments so what the developers get won't be the final version, but the functionality is there.

To show how hackable the product is, you can unscrew a few screws to get access to the mainboard, which now also houses a fan for when developers really go and push the GPU on the Tegra 3 chip.

Finally, here's a screenshot of what the UI might look like come March when the rest of the backers get the OUYA.

Those that got a dev OUYA, I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the product so leave comments if you get one.
