Wired News has a blurb on a new chip built by Silicon Valley startup Ageia Technologies that promises a more realistic gaming experience. The PhysX processor, set to release in May, is designed to simulate real life properties of everything from smoke to rocks.  The upside is that its a crazy-powerful chip. The downside is that your graphics chip might not be able to keep up with it.  And its $300.
