More On: Cross Edge
A side-scrolling RPG mash-up for the PS3, Cross Edge has characters hailing from every corner of the Japanese role-playing game universe (or at least from the NIS publishing house):  Disgaea, Ar Tonelico, Atlier Marie, Spectral Souls, and Darkstalkers just for starters.  More importantly, NIS is correcting yesterday's statement that the game will launch on March 24th.  We didn't post that press release, but that date was incorrect.  Cross Edge won't be in stores until May.  Not May 24th, exactly.  Just May.

Santa Ana, CA (Mar 23, 2009) -- NIS America announced today that the highly anticipated collaboration RPG, Cross Edge will make its way into the PlayStation 3 Computer Entertainment System lineup.  Cross Edge is scheduled to be released in May 2009.

Cross Edge is an RPG co-developed by Nippon Ichi Software, Idea Factory, Gust, Namco Bandai, and Capcom featuring infamous characters from each of the companies.  Some characters featured in the game include the following:

Etna -- Disgaea
Aurica -- Ar Tonelico
Marie -- Atlier Marie
Meu -- Spectral Souls
Morgan -- Darkstalkers

Gamers can expect a battle carnage between the various game characters and an extensive synthesizing system to indulge in for hours.  For more info on Cross Edge, visit
