Just months after ending a crippling lockout, the NHL and NHL PA are at it again according to this
article on Eurogamer. Prior to the lockout the NHLPA had negotiated an exclusive deal with EA to use the player's names and likenesses in the game. The NHL then negotiated a separate deal with Take-Two/2K sports for the rights to use the team names. It looks like they are trying to work through things now and hopefully they work out a deal where both companies get to continue to manufacture games because we know the quality will go down and the price will go up if one company gets exclusive rights.
