Mr. Driller drilling down to DSiWare soon

Namco Bandai is going back to the drilling well once more with a new Mr. Driller title. Mr. Driller: Drill to You Drop is set to launch on the DSiWare download service later this month (specific date to be announced). The new version of the game will include 6 different playable characters and 40 stages spread across numerous modes. The Mr. Driller series is one of my favorite puzzle / action games but it has been on a serious slide recently. The last couple of iterations of the title have been lackluster to say the least, but the original arcade and Dreamcast games are among my all time favorites. Hopefully more information regarding the features and an exact release date will be announced soon...
