Mount & Blade hitting early this school year

Dan just reported today on the ESRB giving a Teen rating to the curiously-titled Mount & Blade; and, after an expected number of delays as the game has tweaked and evolved through a prolonged beta, publisher Pardox Interactive is nailing down a September 16 release date for this Turkish-developed, horseback-mounted action RPG.  In a somewhat inverse order, they're now releasing concept art for Mount & Blade -- which is still cool for concept art junkies like myself.  The realistic medieval depictions (as opposed to high fantasy renders) are a rare concept nowadays, and rather striking in their own sense for lacking the glitz and glamor spilling over from the average fantasy artist.  There's definitely a sober clarity to these black-and-whites.
