Midway sends word that the GameCube version of Mortal Kombat: Deception has gone gold ahead of schedule and will be available on February 28. Those who were able to stave off the PS2 and Xbox versions will be greatly rewarded. This specific version allows players to play as Goro and Shao Kahn, former MK characters that were unavailable in the other two versions of the game. That was a nice move by Midway as it rewards people for waiting to buy this specific version of the game.
