It looks like MS
might actually be working on a portable gaming system along the lines of what Sony is doing with the PSP according to Dean Takahashi. Dean uncovered the information while working on his new book about the Xbox 360 launch and indicates that the device might be out in 2007. Given Dean's level of access over at Microsoft this rumor actually has some teeth. I'm guessing MS might leverage some of the technology from their UMPC line of products and couple it with some Xbox Live goodness. Mobile Geometry Wars? Sign me up.
