It looks like those rumors from a few weeks back were right as Major Nelson has the
scoop that Microsoft has purchased Lion Head studios. The move makes sense for Microsoft as Lionhead produced a number of well selling games for the PC (Black and White) and Xbox (Fable). It will be interesting to see if Peter Molyneux stays with the company or moves on (he left Bullfrog after they were purchased by EA a few years ago).
