Lord of the Rings Online gathering a fellowship of awards

More On: The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar
Blizzard's The Burning Crusade swept the MMO expansion pack awards, but the newest and most impressive cash cow on the block was Lord of the Rings Online.  From its announcement in 1998 (yeah, a decade ago) as Middle-Earth Online, until it's definitive 2007 release, LOTRO has now racked up some hard-won accolades:  Game Informer magazine recently placed LOTRO in it's "Top 50 Games of 2007," and Voodoo Extreme labels it the "Best Massively Multiplayer Game of 2007."  All I can say is, my sentiments exactly.
