LittleBigPlanet 2 finally getting Move support on September 14

It has taken them a little while but Media Molecule is just about ready to launch full PlayStation Move support for LittleBigPlanet 2. It has been announced that the DLC pack which includes support for the motion peripheral will launch onto the PlayStation Store on September 14, 2011.

The pack will contain more than just support for the the Move. The following is a list of additions being included:
  • brand new story for the game entitled ‘The Rise of the Cakeling’ with 14 new levels (5 levels, 7 mini games and 2 cutscenes)
  • new Brane Crane powerup for Sackboy
  • 3 new gadgets for use with Move: The Movinator, The Move Recorder, The Paint Tool
  • 4 interactive music tracks
  • 8 music sequencer tracks
  • new sound object containing 32 new sounds
  • new music sequencer instruments
  • new level background
  • 6 new costumes
  • 18 new materials
  • 41 new decorations
  • 13 new objects
  • 66 new stickers
  • 39 new LittleBigPlanet pins
  • 11 brand new PlayStationTrophies
The DLC addition will have a price tag attached to it though the specific price has not been determined as of yet. In the mean time, check out the trailer for all of the new content below:
