More On: Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts
The folks over at Incredible Technologies are bringing those banned, yet spectacularly awesome great (and highly dangerous) lawn dart games from our youth to the Wii with Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts. The game will feature the banned Lawn Darts in four different games including Classic Lawn Darts, Cricket, 501 and Poker Darts. Unfortunately, it is rated E for everyone, so there won’t be any human target practice. Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts (along with the previously released Target Toss Pro: Bags and Carnival Kings) will all be available on the Wii Shop Channel on September 27th.

The World's Most Dangerous Game is Back!
Lawn Darts - the Ultra-Dangerous Backyard Game - Now Safe at Home on Wii™ and Moms Everywhere Breathe a Sigh of Relief...

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Lawn darts – heavy metal spikes with fins – have been outlawed for years. They're just too dangerous to allow kids (or anyone for that matter) to play with them in today's safety-conscious world. But as menacing as they were, you've got to admit that it sure was fun to fling one into the air and stick it in the center of the yellow ring (while missing your little brother). Yes, they're banned – but now, thanks to the creative geniuses at Incredible Technologies, they're back – and you can play the game safely on your Wii system in the comfort of your living room.

Not content with simply giving you a single game for your money, Incredible Technologies' Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts™ comes with four separate compelling and exciting games.

• Classic Lawn Darts – the most points wins!
• Cricket – the most popular dart game in the world!
• 501 – the first to count down to zero wins!
• Poker Darts – the best poker hand wins!

All the games in TTP: Lawn Darts are adjustable to the skill level and individual preference of the player, and can be customized to enhance the gaming experience. Players can start off with easy versions and then ramp up as they become more accomplished, and they can also choose variations of game play – such as adjusting the target area in classic lawn darts – that are designed to keep things fresh for months to come. Dart players will especially enjoy a new twist on 501 – now they can change the starting total to 301, 701 or 901.

"Our goal is to always give the player the most fun for his money," said Andy Kniaz, VP of business development. "And with Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts, we've really rammed that point home. Players will love this game."

TTP: Lawn Darts is designed to generate competition – 16 players can compete at once - and if that's not enough to satisfy a gamer's competitive spirit – online leaderboards are available to prove who's the best in the world.

As for replicating the motion of flinging a lawn dart, Kniaz said that players will be amazed at how real it feels.
"We had to get the feel of tossing a lawn dart just right," Kniaz said. "And we nailed it. The Wii Remote™ captures the physical motion of the game so closely that you'll think you're throwing an actual lawn dart."

Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts, originally a nationwide hit arcade game, is Incredible Technologies' third Wii title developed in association with n-Space.

"Our collaborations with Incredible Technologies bring together their great family-oriented arcade games and n-Space's expertise on the Wii platform," said Dan O'Leary president of n-Space. "It's been a winning combination for gamers, and Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts is no exception."

TTP: Lawn Darts follows Target Toss Pro: Bags™ – the beanbag game best known as Cornhole – and the classic target shooting game, Carnival King™ to the Wii game system. TTP: Bags was a WiiWare™ best seller for over 6 months when it was released in 2008.

All three games are available SEPTEMBER 27th via download from Nintendo's Wii Shop Channel. To see all the fun and excitement watch the official video at www.targettosspro.com . And moms will especially like the E for Everyone rating.
