Keen eyes over at ComingSoon.net spotted some promotional posters at the recent Licensing International Expo 2011 highlighting a special animated video based on the best selling video game LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. The television special will be set during the Clone Wars era of the series and is currently planned to air in the Fall.
I think that an animated version of the LEGO Star Wars franchise is a no-brainer but will be curious to see how it translates onto the small screen. Part of the charms of the video game series is the lack of speech and highly animated characters; do you think that they will be adding voices to the television version? I sure hope not...
