This information comes from the Inq so take it with a grain of salt but they
post details on ATI's next video card. It'll come in four flavors and use the new 8-pin power connect that I so lovingly found on my new NVIDIA 680i board. The highest end comes in at 1 foot long for those that need to compensate for other things. All of the cards, except for the high end, will have a one slot cooling solution. In comparison, the GeForce 8800 GTS, while shorter, has a two slot cooling solution. I am getting anxious to see what ATI does to counteract the momentum that NVIDIA has generated with their 8800 cards and I have a feeling we won't have to wait too much longer. I am disappointed I didn't get to see anything or hear anything about it at CES 2007 but all the partners that I talked to say March is the month.
