I can't look away from the faces in this slow-motion video of a train pulling into a station

More On: Max Payne

Filmmaker Adam Magyar took his high-speed video equipment onto a train pulling into Grand Central Station in New York City. He aimed his 50 frames-per-second camera at the people standing on the platform. The results are indescribable, but if I were to try, I'd say "haunted" and "human." I'm mesmerized. I know this isn't in keeping with our normal video game coverage here at Gaming Nexus, but this video gave me that same beautifully bewildered feeling I had when I first played around with Max Payne's bullet time in 2001.

You can see the rest of Magyar's series, entitled "Stainless," where he uses this same technique in Tokyo and Berlin.
