Hack can allow for malicious code to run for those using Origin

So, it seems like there's a way for hackers to take advantage of the URI handling capabilities to run malicious code. Just like how web browsers use http:// in front to direct you to a web page, Origin uses origin:// to launch games.

Well, as Ars Technica reports, someone can generate a link to have it run a DLL, or dynamic linking library. A DLL is compiled code that your PC can execute and for those that are evil enough, they can use it to run a code to take over your computer or steal information.

EA's looking into it, but I would advise clicking on anything suspicious or just log off Origin if you aren't playing a game.
