EA has picked the cover athletes for NASCAR 06: Total Team Control and they are Speed Racer Jeff Gordon and Not Former Dallas Coach Jimmi Johnson. The game's due out in September for the PS2 and the Xbox.

Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) announced today that its EA SPORTS(TM) branded NASCAR(R) videogame, NASCAR 06: Total Team Control, will feature NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series teammates Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. The two avid "gamers" personify the focus of this year's game -- Team Racing.
