Heavy Rain fans, it doesn’t look as if a sequel is going to happen. Series creator David Cage says that he has no intention of crafting a follow up to the PS3 classic. According to Cage,
“I’m not in this business to make money. I wrote Heavy Rain because I was excited about it, because there was something to say. Yeah I could make Heavy Rain 2, but I’ve said what I’ve had to say about it.”
You have to respect a guy that openly stands up for what he feels; Cage and company could easily milk the franchise for plenty of more games, but they are choosing to move on with other projects.
Good for them.
