Exit, stage right: Seth Killian leaves Sony

It seems like it wasn’t all that long ago that we were reporting that Capcom’s Seth Killian had departed the company to take on the role of lead designer at Sony’s Santa Monica Studios. Here we are again, nearly two years later, reporting almost the same thing. Killian has officially confirmed that he has departed Sony’s SMS in order to “do his own thing”.

Seth, who is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet in the industry and a huge proponent of the fighting game industry, actually left the company back in December but did so in almost complete silence. I will personally be interested in seeing what Seth does given his track record of contributions on stellar fighting games like PlayStation All-Stars and the Street Fighter IV series.
