Earth Defense Force 2025 has gone gold and now pretty much nothing can stop it from hitting the streets on February 18th.  It will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 for the bargain price of $49.95.

Also announced today is the Mission Packs DLC.  There will be 3 of them called Special Ops (5 new missions, $2.99, out on Feb 18th), Mutant Rampage (20 new missions, $8.99, out on Febrary 25th), and Beyond Despair (20 new missions, $8.99, out on March 11th).

Earth Defense Force 2025 Has Gone Gold and and Will Release on February 18 with the First of Three Upcoming DLC Mission Packs

D3Publisher (D3P) today announced Earth Defense Force 2025 has gone gold and will be available nationwide for $49.95 for the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system on February 18. In addition, three mission packs will be available as downloadable content (DLC) with the first pack titled “Special Ops” available starting on the date of launch.

Mission Packs to include: (Will also be available as a bundle)
-Special Ops – Will feature 5 new missions for $2.99 and be available on February 18.
-Mutant Rampage – Will feature 20 new missions for $8.99 and be available on February 25.
-Beyond Despair – Will feature 20 new missions for $8.99 and be available on March 11.
